Picket to be held outside Prosecutor General's Office Feb 12
A Facebook initiative is holding a picket on February 12 outside the Prosecutor General's Office in Yerevan, the initiative said in a Facebook post. “A month has passed since the brutal murder of the Avetisyan family but the public demand to arrange the handover of the murder to law enforcement agencies of Armenia has not been met yet. Given the fact that Armenia’s Prosecutor General has applied to his Russian counterpart to transfer the suspected criminal to Armenia, we demand that the Prosecutor General's Office
- act transparently and publish the answer of the Russian side,
- guarantee that the accused will be given to law enforcement authorities of Armenia,
- guarantee that the perpetrator/perpetrators will be tried by the Armenian law
