Mrs Naghdalyan proposes to create a working group
On February 10 the RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan met with Laura Hakobyan, the Chair of the Branch Trade Union Executive Committee of the Banks and Financial-credit Organizations of Armenia and the members of the Executive Committee. The RA NA deputy Ruzanna Muradyan attended the meeting. At the guests’ request the NA Deputy Speaker has presented details on the recent amendments made to the law “Temporary Invalidity Allowances” which are connected with providing social support to the mothers in maternity leave. The NA Deputy Speaker has noted that every problem concerning the protection of women’s rights is permanently at the centre of attention of the parliament, particularly that of the women deputies and has expressed readiness to discuss all the constructive recommendations in the legislative field. The members of Branch Trade Executive Committee have highlighted the creation of the collective agreement, which will define the provisions of law, as well as additional privileges for the women working in the banking system. Mrs Naghdalyan proposed to create a working group, discuss the problem of the creation of the collective agreement with the participation of the representatives of the RA Government and the Central Bank. In the course of the meeting issues regarding the protection of the rights of the women working in the banking system, the problems occurred in the working legal relations and the collective agreements have been also discussed.
