Snow strands about 15 vehicles on Vardenyants mountain pass
Strong winds and poor visibility have caused problems for motorists on Vardenyants mountain pass. Up to 15 vehicles have been stranded on the mountain pass due to heavy snow and significant wind gusts, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Snow cleaning operations are underway to free the cars that are stuck in the snow, says the Ministry.
