Elderly villager wounded by Azerbaijani sniper transferred to Yerevan -armtimes.com

Levon Andreasyan, the 85-year-old resident of Armenian border village of Movses was working in the gardens near the village when he was wounded by a sniper bullet fired by Azerbaijan’s armed forces, Ararat Avalyan, Head of Movses village, told armtimes.com. The enemy shot three bullets which hit the man’s left knee, his backpack and donkey. As soon as the shooting stopped the elderly man tied his wound, sat on the wounded donkey and returned to the village where he asked for help from the first house. After receiving the first aid, Levon Andreasyan was transferred to a military hospital in the town of Berd. Ararat Avalyan, who visited the man in the hospital, says the wounded man has been transferred to Yerevan to receive proper treatment.
