Candlelight vigil for Seryozha Avetisyan: Police drive citizens from one site to another (video)
A group of citizens in Yerevan are now holding a candlelight vigil for the six-month-old Seryozha Avetisyan, who died in a Yerevan hospital earlier today. Police officers have forbidden the group to carry lighted candles at Liberty Square arguing that they are polluting the public space and advised the participants to find another area. After the citizens moved to the area near Swan Lake, the police realized that it was not the best solution and asked people to return to the square. Talking to A1+, Vaghiunak Shushanyan, one of the participants of the event, said they demand that Valery Permyakov, the Russian soldier accused of killing the Avetisyan family, be handed over to Armenian people and be tried by people.
