Even if the karabakh problem is solved within the framework of public democracy, it will not be fixed or acknowledged. In the recent years the expert capital has not advanced to a new level. One of the guests of the Red Bridge program aired by A1+ Company, Chairman of the Yerevan Press Club, Boris Navasardyan, says the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan are inclined to solve the conflict. In November, 2014, a joint statement was adopted in Helsinki on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which was supported by civil society representatives of the two countries. The document called on foreign forces to stop supplying weapons and munitions to the conflicting sides - Armenia and Azerbaijan. Ali Abbasov, the Head of the Department of the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, says the statement first of all refers to Russia. The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs hare exerting great efforts for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. However, the solution does not in the hands of mediators.
