Black ice on most roads of the RA
RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the RA territory on January 10 at 11:00. Vardenyats mountain pass is closed. The roads of Sotk-Karvachar and Berd-Chambarak are difficult to pass. It is snowing in Aragatsotn region Aparan city, there is storm in Aragats. There is black ice on all the roads of the RA. In order to ensure safe traffic the roads are being cleaned and cultivated with salt and sand. Drivers should drive with winter tires. According to the information received from Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed because of heavy downfall and Ninotsminda-Bavra road is open only for light passenger vehicles.
