Armenia participates in CSTO Summit in Moscow (video)

The summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) has started in the Kremiln. The meeting is being held in a restricted format. Its participants include President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha.

A session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the highest level is due to be held in Moscow later today. Armenia will also participate in the meeting as a full-fledged member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

Earlier on Tuesday, Russian President ratified the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the EEU.
