Azerbaijan returns Armenian family held in captivity for four years
An Armenian family of five today returned home after being held in Azerbaijani custody for four years. Talking to A1+, Zara Amatuni, a spokesperson for the ICRC Office in Armenia, said the names of the family members were not publishedd as there are three underage children in the family. The return took place on December 12 on the border between Armenia’s Tavush region and the Azerbaijani region of Kazak. The family illegally crossed the border near Nakhichevan on January 10, 2010 and remained in captivity every since.
