Residents of Garni village again took to street to protest HPP construction (video)
The Pan-Armenian Environmental Front today received a call from residents of Garni village who have stood up again to protest against the construction of a hydropower plant near the village. On April 20, members of the Front visited the Garni Gorge to find out what was happening there. Villagers claim that a new hydropower plant is planned to be built in the gorge which will dry up the river and harm the entire ecosystem. The video was made on April 20.
