Deputy Chairman of the RF State Duma said “no” in Yerevan (video)
Must there be a checkpoint between Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh or not? Deputy Chairman of Russian State Duma Oleg Lebedev has his own viewpoint, “I think- no.” The issue of checkpoint isn’t solved by the treaty of Eurasian Economic Union. The countries of the union will solve the issue of the checkpoint in the upcoming year after the ratification of the treaty, “Which is the main principle of countries of the treaty- no country has casting vote. That issue will be solved by the heads of the countries.” Together with other Russian politicians Mr. Lebedev took part in the activities of Armenian-Russian Friendship Parliamentary Club at the National Assembly. So they will change their mind, “And they will also enter the Eurasian Union.” Russia needs Armenia. Anticorruption committee member of State Duma Boris Reznik can speak particularly about agricultural reasons, “You have a blessed land, powerful supplies of food.” By the way, one of Armenian journalists noted that there is a viewpoint that Russia, having a collapsing economy, will take Armenia with it.
