Vayk Mayor to be appointed Governor of Vayots Dzor
In its sitting on Thursday, December 4, the Armenian government will terminate prematurely the powers of Harutyun Sargsyan, Mayor of Vayk town in Vayots Dzor marz. The draft decision will be presented by Armen Yeritsyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations. Sargsyan handed in his resignation as mayor of Vayk town in November 2014. According to press reports he will be appointed Governor of Vayots Dzor marz to replace the former governor Edgar Ghazaryan, who was appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to Poland in October.
