Head of the Country of Law (OEK) faction, Heghine Bisharyan today said she agrees to the provisions of the bill submitted by the Heritage party on amending the Electoral Code. She said she was also elected by a majority vote. “I came to understood that voters do not like working people, they like deaf and dumb. As a rule, we lose to them. There are other MPs elected by a majority vote and I do not know which faction they represent. This is a great concern that has accumulated for years,” he said. “My experience during elections helped me understand that in order to become a lawmaker one needs to have money. Your reputation and good name do not matter; you must know local authorities, kingpins and heads of the condominium. We should stand above this all.  I am sorry but can you show me the work of the MPs ejected from the same constituency since the years of independence?  Armenians cannot keep their mouths, shut and they immediately begin to tell who they took bribes from and how much they took,” she said. Heghine Bisharyan added that her party supports Heritage’s initiative. “We have even asked the Republican Party of Armenia to discuss the bill together to have the best parliament even without amending the constitution.”
