Only Republican candidates left alone in local elections
Only one candidate, Republican Mirazm Urusyan, has been nominated to participate in the snap elections in Jamshu community in Aragatsotn marz. The other candidate, Merali sadoyan has withdrawn from the race. The elections are set for December 7. Tital Aloyan, the former head of the community, submitted his resignation on July 7. Local elections are also due in Charenstavan town in Kotayk marz on December 4. The only candidate vying for the mayor’s post is Hakob Shahgeldyan, the son of former governor of Kotayk Marz Kovalenko Shahgaldyan.
