Today after half hour meeting at NA President, the Government request was rejected. Non-governmental troika rejected the offer to take part in the discussions. “How can we negotiate over the points, which are the demand of people, they must be solved,”- says BHK Deputy Tigran Urikhanyan. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan offered non-governmental troika to discuss 12 points and to form three-member teams from the Government and the opposition for discussion of each point. “In general the dialogue is refused by those, who have nothing to do and say in the political field. Rejection is marginal style,”- notes NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov. Staff Head-Minister Davit Harutyunyan presented the Government at the meeting, and from the Troika “Heritage” party head Ruben Hakobyan and BHK Deputy Mikayel Melkumyan were present at the meeting. “We think that for overcoming this situation no time, no road map, no financial investments are needed, for example for the Government to make changes in the EC,”- said “Heritage” party head Ruben Hakobyan. “The government doesn’t say that they will never make EC changes, we say that before reaching the point B, we must pass the point A,”- explains Eduard Sharmazanov. HHK representative says that unless the Constitution is changed, there can be no electoral reforms. And the Troika is against constitutional changes.
