17-year-old Simon Martirosyan represented Armenia at the World Weightlifting Championship 105 kg weight category in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 2014 Junior Olympic champion showed the following results- 183 kg snatch and 213 kg clean and jerk. He took the seventh place by lifting 396 kg combined. Our weightlifter fell back the new world champion, Kazakh Ilya Ilyin with 36 kg.
