Dem Am initiative members whistle and beat drums in response to police aggression
Dem Am! (I am against) civil initiative is holding a protest in the park near the Ministry of Finance demanding the Minister not to ‘make staff massacres’ in universities because of the mandatory pension fund. The newly amended law on funded pensions envisages that public sector employees are required to make targeted social payments” hat come to replace the controversial contributions to private pension funds. However, if a public sector employee also works in the private sector they mechanically enter the new pension system against their will. As a result of the law requirement, many employees of universities have left their jobs. Today the police did not allow the protesters to approach the Ministry building. The action participants want to give a letter to the Minister. In response to the police aggression members of the civil initiative are whistling and beating drums.
