One of the jailed supporters of Shant Harutyunyan set free (video)

Tigran Petrosyan, one of the friends of political activist Shant Harutyunyan sentenced to one year in prison in October, has been released. Petrosyan was serving his sentence in Nubarashen prison. He refused to answer any questions, saying he was hurrying home. Petrosyan only advised addressing the questions to his attorney Ara Zakaryan. On October 19, a court in Yerevan found Shant Harutyunyan, the leader of the Tseghakron party, his underage son Shahen and ten other activists who also participated in the November 5, 2013 anti-government protest, guilty of acts of hooliganism and sentenced them from 1 to 7 years in prison.
