Conference in Turkey with the participation of Churchill’s, Enver’s grandchildren
Turkish opposition- “Republican People's Party” (CHP), plans to hold a conference dedicated to 1915 on April, 2015 in Istanbul. Famous historians from different countries will be invited to the conference. 3 international conferences are scheduled in 5 months. Besides historians, grandchildren of many famous political and public figures will take part, for example the grandchild of Winston Churchill Celia Sandys, grandson of Enver Pasha Osman Mayatepek, grandchild of Kazim Karabekir Feliz Hanim and others. It was informed to “CNNTurk” media by CHP Deputy Mustafa Balbay. Based on his facts he noted that there are no more than 40 thousands books defending Armenian point of view on 1915, whereas more than 60 thousands books defend Turkish point of view. Opposition Deputy called Armenians to take part in the conference on April to hear the historians speak about 1915. Balbay also noted that they are going to invite the RA President Serzh Sargsyan to take part in the conference. ermenihaber.am
