Armenia is becoming a capital-state: Edmon Marukyan
During these days I have followed Erebuni-Yerevan celebrations from the point of view of Vanadzor citizen and I got such impression that the rest of our cities and villages are in such a good condition that we can afford such venture every year. State resources are shared unequally in Armenia and centralization is getting more and more. Every year a city can be developed by saving up the money spent on Erebuni-Yerevan celebration or Yerevan. For example, this year Gyumri could be improved, next year- Vanadzor and other northern and southern cities. We all know that Yerevan gathers more money, but it doesn’t mean that state mustn’t interfere and share the resources equally in order to have equal territorial development. It is the same as only father works in the family and doesn’t buy anything for a wife and children, who don’t work and spends all the money on himself. But the wife grows up the children and carries out household chores. I think that if it continues, we will have a state, which is a capital and its name is Yerevan… NA Deputy Edmon Marukyan
