Next opposition rally scheduled for October 24
The next rally organized by the three non-governing political forces in the Armenian parliament will be held in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on October 24, Head of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Levon Zurabyan told reporters on Monday. The rally starts at 5 p.m. The decision was taken during today’s meeting of the three forces. Zurabyan said on October 24 they will take definite actions. He also expressed his satisfaction with the October 10 rally saying it was one of the most massive rallies held since 1988. “The political domain had shocks which will yield their results. The rally instilled hopes in people; everyone is speaking about it today. We have no time to wait, people have lost patience,” he said.
