Aram Manukyan: There is no place for scoundrels in this country (video)
Serzh, go away! One could hear similar calls in Liberty Square just before the start of the rally organized by the three major opposition parties – Armenian National Congress (HAK), Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and Heritage. In his speech, HAK representative Aram Manukyan said Serzh Sargsyan is the main evil threatening Armenia and its people. “There is no place for scoundrels in this country. Today Armenia is facing serious problems connected with national security. Our independence and security are endangered. We want an Armenia without Serzh Sargsyan,” he said. Mr Manukyan noted that either the movement will free Armenian from several people or Armenia will remain without Armenians. Armen Martirosyan, Chairman of the Heritage party, added that the acting authorities are completely bankrupt. “Are you ready for a revolution?” “Yes, we are,” the crowd said unanimously. Mr Martirosyan urged everyone, irrespective of their political stance, to unite and overthrow the authorities as soon as possible.
