“I am disappointed with not revealing March 1 case”: CoE HR commissioner (video)
March 1st, 2008 events, which haven’t been revealed until today, are serious question for justice in Armenia, thinks CoE HR commissioner, “I am disappointed with the absence of results, I have discussed March 1st issue with Attorney, they said that the investigation is still underway.” But European official didn’t meet the relatives of victims of March 1st during his 7-day visit. The commissioner also turned to the punishment of underage Shahen Harutyunyan, “For 14-15 years old child 4 years of imprisonment is equal to lifelong imprisonment. I said it also to General Prosecutor, but he said that the present constitution doesn’t differ whether the crime was committed by a child or an adult.” More in the video later
