Today “From losing peace till foundation of the European Union” event was held at the YSU, which was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First World War. The event was organized by Embassies of France and Germany in Armenia. Turning to the meeting of Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliev due on October in Paris, the Ambassador of France noted that the peace between France and Germany can be an example for Armenia and Azerbaijan and France always raises the issue that nothing must be solved with arms and only by negotiations, “The aim of meeting is to reach peace in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. We are intended to exclude the deaths of soldiers and we must do everything to keep the ceasefire regime.” German Ambassador in Armenia Rainer Morel said that France is doing an important step and that Azerbaijan and Armenian will reach success due to such discussions and meetings.
