Peace in Ukraine is very fragile: new problem will arise in winter (video)
The situation in Ukraine is relatively stable. According to Armenian politicians, there have been significant changes since the ceasefire in Ukraine announced a month ago. “Ukraine exhausted its resources, its army was surrounded. On the other hand Russia is under sanctions and the deepening of sanctions isn’t beneficial for him, that’s why their interests brought peace,”- thinks politician Yervand Bozoyan. But peace is very fragile, any time there may be military situation, the politicians are sure. For a long lasting peace other solutions are necessary, “Political solution is needed for peace. The authorities of Donetsk, Lugansk and Kiev must negotiate.” The situation of Ukraine will worsen in winter, when gas issue will come forward. New developments aren’t excluded including military ones: thinks Alexander Markarov, “It is early to give positive scenarios in case of Ukraine.” OSCE efforts to displace conflicting forces for 15 km aren’t realistic, think the politicians.
