On October 10, we shall meet in Liberty Square [in Yerevan] to say goodbye to the authorities, a senior member of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) said during opposition’s rally in Ararat city. Aram Manukyan says people from all regions will gather on that day in the square to restore their insulted dignity. His speech was followed by loud applause and chants. “We want victory,” the ralliers were crying. Ruben Hakobyan, Head of the Heritage faction, asked the participants whether they supported the reforms that would lead to a final change of power. “Yes,” the crowded said unanimously. Speaking about Armenia’s foreign policy, Ruben Hakobyan said Armenian authorities confess their love for the West before the noon and for Russia after the noon. With regard to the opposition trio, the MP said the three forces were clever enough to understand that they cannot fight against the acting regime alone.
