Armen Martirosyan: Surik Khachatryan's reappointment is a slap to our soldiers
All those who do not want to hear us, are kindly asked to leave the square, Armen Martirosyan, a senior representative of the Heritage party, said during the opposition’s rally in Hrazdan town. He said after seeing yesterday’s rally in Abovyan town the authorities decided to resort to their repressive methods. “There are people here who have come to incite provocation. But do not blame them. They are not guilty that they live in bad social conditions. They had to come here against their will and execute someone else’s order. We should help them,” said Martirosyan. “Surik Khachatryan’s reappointment as Governor of Syunik province is inadmissible. He [Khachatryan] shot a general in broad daylight and his return to the position is a slap to our soldiers,” the Heritage member said. His speech was followed by loud vociferations, “Serzhik, go away!”
