The officials caused essential property damage to the state
Based on the evidence obtained in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal case instituted with regard to the case of deceit of the consumers examined in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with Part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, on September 3, 2014 a new criminal case was instituted and attached as a separate proceeding. The preliminary investigation revealed that during 2013 some officials of the Criminal-Executive Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, failing to fulfill their duties, without estimating and inspecting, launched a proceeding against the household goods of less quantity and poorer quality. This circumstance caused an essential damage to the legal interests of the state. A preliminary investigation is under way. SIS
