Surik Khachatryan’s issue wasn’t discussed (video)
At HHK Council session Surik Khachatryan’s and Syunik governor’s issue in general wasn’t discussed. This was informed to journalists by HHK spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov. During the session, which lasted about two and a half hours Nagorno Karabakh resolution, Armenian-Turkish relations, NATO Summit and Wales declaration issues were discussed. Eduard Sharmazanov thinks that the declaration failed Turkish-Armenian political deal. “Of course, there are points in the declaration, which aren’t favorable for us, but in general the declaration is beneficial for us. There is clearly stated that Nagorno Karabakh resolution issue must be solved only in peaceful way according to Minsk format,”- noted HHK speaker. Eduard Sharmazanov also noted that more than 20 Republican representatives made speeches today including Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, Education Minister Armen Ashotyan and others. Constitutional reforms issue was also discussed. Eduard Sharmazanov said that first time in the history of Armenia public had participation in Constitutional reforms package.
