According to the Minister, the state supports its citizens sufficiently (video)
The decision of the Government to increase socially vulnerable families’ subsidiary by 1000 AMD was timely and appropriate, is sure Labor and Social Affairs Minister Artem Asatryan. “But will it be enough?”, to this question Minister answered, “Of course, every support is always insufficient.” Artem Asatryan is sure that the Government responded to the electricity price increase very fast by providing 1000 AMD to 105.000 families, “I think Government’s actions are timely and appropriate.” The support will be provided to 105.000 families, it means to 400.000 people, and about 1 million people are considered poor in Armenia. What must others do? Labor and Social Affairs Minister Artem Asatryan reminds that besides 1000 AMD, there has been other aid, “The increase of salaries since July 1, is also aid to families.”
