Bashar al- Assad won the elections
Syrian ruling President Bashar al- Assad won first presidential election in the history of Syria, gathering 88.07 percent of votes. As Reuters informs it has been said by Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Laham. Before it turned out that 11,6 millions from 15 millions residents took part in the presidential elections. We inform that the USA and the EU haven’t recognized the presidential elections in Syria and announced about illegal voting, but Russian and Iranian monitors haven’t recorded violations. According to Armenian experts, these elections have propaganda character to show that Syrian people are beside their Government.
