The newly appointed Chairman of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, Martin Sargsyan, will first of all modernize the sector and see to it that people encounter fewer problems when they turn to his agency. “We should optimize the system making it one of the leading sectors in the country,” Mr Sargsyan told reporters today. The new chairman did not rule out personnel changes.  “I think there is such a problem. In several regions we have more or fewer employees, and the equilibrium is upset but should try to balance it,” he said. Speaking about the allegations about wide-spread corruption in the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, Martin Sargsyan said he did not possess any information of the kind but he did not think there are serious problems at the Committee as ‘people working here are professionals who managed to create cadastral base in a short time.’ Mr Sargsyan added that they will try to find solutions to the existing problems in the near future. Martin Sargsyan was appointed to the post on June 3.
