Today president Robert Kocharyan hosted Major-General Sergei Bondarev, the newly-appointed head of the boundary department of Russia’s Security federal service in Armenia.

Congratulating Bondarev on the new post Kocharyan wished him efficient service. At the president’s words, the joint defence of the frontiers indicates of the high level of Armenian-Russian interstate relations.

Introducing the situation at the boundaries, Sergei Bondarev stated that the situation there is stable and controllable.
