Lawmakers to elect new parliament speaker
Armenia’s National Assembly is set to elect on Monday a new chairman. The political majority – Republican Party of Armenia – has nominated Galust Sahakyan to the post of parliament speaker. According to our sources, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun will not participate in the election.
