The sit-in held by Dem am (I am against) civil movement in Yerevan’s Nalbandyan street on April 9 temporarily closed the street, paralyzing the traffic in the neighbouring area, the Office of General Prosecutor said in a statement. The Office reminds that any attempt to obstruct traffic is subject to criminal and administrative liability and if repeated, the organisers will be made accountable. The General Prosecutor’s Office reminds that the realization of citizens’ right to rallies and marches should not be accompanied by gross and deliberate violation of public order and infringement of constitutional rights and freedoms of other people. It is especially unacceptable when the violation of public right and breach of others’ rights become the main goal of the gathering. The RA legislation allows organisers and participants of protests and demonstrations to exercise their constitutional right to rallies without any violation of public order and without limiting the constitutional rights of others
