Aghvan Vardanyan: We do not find the meeting of opposition party leaders important at this stage
The need for the meeting of the heads of the four opposition parties in Armenia had been discussed at the sittings of the ‘quartet’ many times, Secretary of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation –Dashnaktsutyun told Yerkir.am news agency. Aghvan Vardanyan says the idea of the meeting was proposed by the Heritage Party. “At this stage, Dashnaktsutyun does not find the meeting to be important. Dashnaktsutyun always expressed its standpoint during the meetings of the quartet. For us, the approaches of a political team and its leader are identical,” he said. Aghvan Vardanyan added that his party was aware that the leaders of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK), Heritage and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) might meet later on Thursday.
