UNO General Secretary condemned Kessab events
UNO General Secretary Ban Ki-moon on Monday late at night made an announcement, where he condemned the murder of old Priest Frans van der Lugt in Syrian Homs city, as well as violations in Kessab. “The murder of old Priest Frans van der Lugt in Syrian Homs city has become the peaceful population defense need latest tragedy. General Secretary condemns this inhuman act, which was done against a man, who had passed the blockade and difficulties and was beside Syrian people,”- it is said in the announcement of UNO General Secretary. Turning to situation in Kessab, UNO General Secretary said that he was frightened at the images, where Kessab massacres are depicted. “Though UNO can’t affirm the justice of these violations, human rights violations are continuing and villagers leave their residences as in Kessab,”- said General Secretary of UNO and expressed his concern of the fact that terrorist groups continue frighten peaceful population.
