Anahit Bakhshyan sees Robert Kocharyan's handwriting behind BHK actions (video)
During today’s press conference, Anahit Bakhshyan, a member of the Heritage Party, and Vahan Shirkhanyan, former Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia, discussed the Saturday rally in Yerevan, as well as a number of problems faced by the country. Commening on Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s speech at the rally, Vahan Shirkhanyan said the main message was that the Armenian National Congress (HAK) led by Ter-Petrosyan is in favor of the Customs Union. Then Shirkhanyan recalled the notorious Armenian-Turkish protocols which were supported by the HAK. “It was betrayal. Similarly, they do not criticize the authorities’ decision to join the Customs Union,” he said. With regard to the cooperation between the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and HAK, Mr. Shirkhanyan said, “Any force that strives to come to power will cooperate with its enemy.” He added that today the opposition does not offer the platform people can rely on. The former deputy minister says the opposition should fight against the system and not against personalities. Anahit Bakhshyan also disapproved of the BHK-HAK cooperation and said ‘Robert Kocharyan stands behind the BHK.’
