Farewell dinner for departing Georgian President
The presidential compound in Yerevan hosted Friday a farewell event for Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili. Earlier, the two men held a vis-à-vis meeting to sum up the results of the talks held on the sidelines of the Georgian president’s visit. The leaders of the two countries agreed that the talks will promote progress in the bilateral relations and boost cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Before his departure, Giorgi Margvelashvili is scheduled to visit the Holy See of St Echmiadzin where he will meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II. After a working dinner with Serzh Sargsyan, the Georgian delegation will leave Armenia.
