Who ordered to shut down online media after March 2008 clashes? (video)
Six years have passed after the deadly post-election clashes of March 1, 2008, which left 10 people killed in downtown Yerevan. [The then President] Robert Kocharyan declared a 20-day state of emergency in the country following the clashes between the riot police and anti-government protesters in the Armenian capital. In the same day, censorship was imposed on online media. Six years have passed after the deadly events but to this day no one knows why the media was subjected to censorship.
