Criminal Case Initiated over Inspector Demanding Large Bribe from Citizen
A criminal case has been initiated under the RA Criminal Code, Article 311, part 3, point 3, based on the materials prepared by the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia on the basis of citizen P.S.’s report. According to citizen P.S.’s report, in return for not taking action upon the materials concerning his brother and the latter’s friend, in December 2012 the inspector of one of the RA police divisions demanded a large amount of money from him for each of them. Preliminary investigation is being conducted, reports the SIS Press Service.
