Academic calendar of 2020-2021 defined

By the order of the Minister of Education and Science, the academic calendar of 2020-2021 for the main general, specialized educational institutions implementing special state programs were approved, in which the days of school holidays are defined.

The students of 3-12 grades are given vacations for autumn season from November 2 to 15, 2020 inclusive, for winter season from December 28, 2020 to January 10, 2021 inclusive and no spring break is planned for this academic year.

The autumn vacation for first graders will last from November 2 to 15 inclusive, and the winter vacation from  December 28, 2020 to January 24, 2020 inclusive. The spring break for first greaders will last from March 22, 2021 to April 4, 2021 inclusive.

For the second graders, the autumn vacation will last from November 2 to 15, 2020 inclusive, the winter vacation from December 28, 2020 to January 17, 2021 including and the spring vacation from March 22-28, 2021 inclusive.

To note, in case of insurmountable force (unfavorable weather conditions, spread of acute infectious diseases, natural disaster, etc.), the general education institution may implement the main educational programs through distance learning.

The duration of vacations in a non-state educational institution, the terms, as well as the changes made in them will be defined by the founder, who should inform the ministry about them it within 5 working days.
