Murad Muradyan and Aleksan Petrosyan, both lawmakers from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), again voted for their absent colleagues in the October 19 sitting of the National Assembly. The Armenian legislature today passed the first reading of the amended Electoral Code. The second reading will be held later on Wednesday. As soon as the discussion of the bill ended, MPs began leaving the hall with a great noise. “Dear collagues, do hurry up to leave the hall without much noise. We are in the National Assembly and not in a kindergarten,” Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov said.
