Sharmazanov: RPA attaches importance to meetings with EPP parties
Vice-Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov, met on June 28 with Manolis Kefaloyannis, Secretary of the New Democracy Party of Greece. The meeting was held in Athens within the framework of the 9th congress of the New Democracy party.
The two officials stressed the importance to strengthen cooperation between the Republican Party of Armenia and New Democracy Party of Greece as members of the European People's Party.
Eduard Sharmazanov said Armenia attaches great importance to the meetings with EPP member parties. The two men also discussed the importance of responding to a number of challenges, including xenophobia, racism and intolerance.
