Armenian Defense Minister: I have nothing to conceal
Armenia's Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan says he attempts to be transparent in his work.
"I try to be transparent before you and my subordinates," said the minister. Yet, it does not mean that the entire ministry should be transparent as 'there are state secrets, security issuess...'
"Either I shall have to present my activities and the life in the army openly to the public, or someone else can come and sit in my place and take decisions," he said.
While Seyran Ohanyan says he has nothing to conceal from people, he states that there are certain issues that should remain confidential. At the smae time he suggests determining the level of the army transparency.
Speaking about army incidents and his supposed resignation Seyran Ohanyan said, "Defense Ministers do not usually resign."
