Renowned micro miniaturist Eduard Ghazarian would turn 90 today
The world renowned Armenian micro miniaturist Eduard Ghazarian, who claimed to create tiny works of art smaller than the eye of a needle and surprised the whole world with his unique works, would become 90 today.
Ghazarian, who is considered to be the founder of the unique art of micro miniature, was also a talented musician, sculptor and excellent cartoonist.
He created numerous miniatures and granted many as tokens of friendship to prominent people. The micro miniatures which are invisible by the naked eye are in constant motion. Ghazarian also managed to create asynchronously moving micro sculptures that to date (over 30 years) have not been replicated and are unmatched as such.
In 2006, the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge named Eduard Ghazarian as one of the most talented persons of all times and presented him with a Living Legend Award.
Ghazarian died in April 2012 at the age of 89.
