Heritage Party Leader responds to EPP President
Heritage Party Leader Rraffi Hovannisian has addressed a letter to Wilfried Martens, President of the European People's Party (EPP).
"I do not know to what or to whom you are replying in your letter of June 3. In view of your public demeanor of late and your lack of responsiveness to my previous correspondence, I can state for the record that I certainly have not made any further request of you which requires official interpretation of EPP values and virtues. They already have been breached, and under your watch.
For better guidance on the issue at hand, perhaps you should check with the gentleman or team who drafts documents for your signature. In any event, I am honoured to have heard of you," Hovannisian wrote in the letter.
Wilfried Martens earlier said that Heritage would not be invited to participate in EPP's summit to be held in Vienna on June 20. The EPP President further said that only the heads of EPP member states or governments will be invited.
