Armenian man stabs his wife and daughters
A 37-year old man stabbed his wife to death and inflicted bodily injuries on his two daughters in Akunk village in Kotayk province on Sunday night.
The task force which left for the scene upon receiving the distress call to find out that the man, Ashot Grigoryan, had first stabbed his wife Anush Gasparyan, 31, and then his daughters, Shoghakat, 12, and Mariam,6. Grigoryan then stabbed himself in the abdomen.
Grigoryan and his daughters Shoghakat and Mariam were hospitalized.
The police have confiscated six kitchen wounds from the apartment.
A criminal case has been filed in the Investigation Department of Kotayk province under Article 104(1) of the Armenian Criminal Code.
Investigation is underway.
Gevorgyan has been put under arrest.
