Armenian Minister, French Ambassador visit Khosrov reserve
Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan and French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud today visited Khosrov Forest State Reserve within the framework of celebrations marking Environmentalist Day in Armenia.
The officials walked around the reserve's museum, got familiarized with its biodiversity and conservation measures.
"I admired the exhibits displayed at the museum. I noted that particular attention is paid to the nature protection," said the ambassador.
"Each of us is interested in nature conservation. We all live and work for it and it concerns all of us. This is a global problem and it refers to all peoples in the world. I urge everyone to double efforts in order to solve problems in this area," said Minister Aram Harutunyan.
On the occasion of Environmentalist Day, the minister handed over Letters of Acknowledgement to a number of employees of the state reserve.
