Karapet Rubinyan says he would also protect himself
"If someone attacked your house, what would you do? Wouldn't you protect yourself?"
Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan gave the answer to a journalist of 168.am after the latter inquired from him about Saturday's deadly gunfight outside his house in Goris city.
A correspondent of Aravot.am today asked Karapet Rubinyan, one of the veteran opposition politicians, a co-founder of the Armenian Pan-National Movement (HHSh), what he would do if an armed group attacked his house. "Of course, I would try to self-protect. If I had time I would also call police."
Asked whether he had a weapon to protect himself, Mr Rubinyan said, "Unfortunately, I don't have."
